Responsibilities would involve the following: * Co-ordinates and control the debt collection procedures by attending to the verification, reporting, processing and reconciliation of related transactions * do administration with regard to the debt pack system * Capture and update debtors data base * process daily journals * keep financial statistics * consult with debtors to determine indigent cases * report to supervisor on all debt collection cases * handle debt related enquiries * Ensure that all payments received are captured on financial system * Compile month-end journals * Perform back-ups * Reconciliations * other duties as requested from time to time.

Proposed Review/Amendments to Various Council Policies

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Section 21 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000) that a draft House Shop and Trading from Container Policy has been compiled by the Theewaterskloof Municipality.

The aforementioned policy is open for inspection at the locations listed below and will be accessible on the municipality’s website at www.twk.org.za. Further enquiries may be made to the Manager: Town Planning and Building Control, Mr. J Pienaar at email: JohannesPi@twk.org.za or P.O. Box 24, Caledon, 7230, at tel. no (028) 214 3300 or fax. no.
