Duly authorised by a resolution of Council and in line with the new legislative framework under LUPA in conjunction with SPLUMA, the Municipality drafted a municipal planning by-law which regulates aspects of land and building development management, including the provision of engineering services for land development and the raising of Development Charges.
The Draft Municipal Development Contribution Policy can be inspected at the Municipality’s head and satellite offices and libraries during official working hours of operation (07h45 – 16h45); or can be accessed on the Municipality’s official web-site www.twk.org.za, from 21 October 2019
Notice is hereby given that, in terms of Section 21 and 21A of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000), the local community and affected parties are invited to submit comments or representations on the Draft Municipal Development Contribution Policy
Such comments or representations must be submitted by not later than 21st of November 2019 at 12h00.
Comments or representations must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly endorsed “Theewaterskloof Municipal Development Contribution Policy”
